Hunter Knight Upholstery, previously known as THE DAVID KNIGHT COLLECTION,  was established in 2006 by David and Lyn. David’s experience in the furniture industry goes back over 60 years. He began his career with Harrods in London, as an apprentice. After 13 years with Harrods, David joined Parker and Farr in Long Eaton and then became a director at Duresta.

in 1983, David went into partnership with the late Henry Hassall and 'Greensmiths Upholstery' was formed. After 25 years with Greensmiths, David, together with his wife Lyn, set up 'The David Knight Collection'.  They purchased Greensmith Upholstery, which forms part of our collection today.

In 2012, David and Lyn's son in law, Ben Hunter, began supporting the business and over the last 8 years his involvement has steadily increased.  Ben has been playing rugby professionally during that time and, with retirement looming and David and Lyn looking for someone to continue moving the company forward, the progression seemed natural.

Today, in 2019, David, Lyn and Ben look forward to driving the business onwards and working with our valued customers under the new name 'Hunter Knight Upholstery'.
